SmsPort is a multi-tenant WhatsApp business messaging platform. Customer businesses may use SmsPort to onboard WhatsApp assets, manage conversations, create templates, run campaigns, and operate integrations. By using the service, you acknowledge that certain data required for these operations may be processed by SmsPort and by Meta platforms connected through the service.

Information We Collect

  • Workspace and account details such as business name, contact name, phone number, email address, and billing-related information.
  • Messaging data required to provide the service, including WhatsApp message content, template metadata, conversation records, webhook payloads, and delivery states.
  • Technical data such as API requests, authentication sessions, audit logs, device and browser details, and product usage events needed to operate and secure the platform.

How We Use Information

  • To onboard businesses to the WhatsApp Business Platform and manage connected assets such as phone numbers, templates, and messaging configuration.
  • To deliver core product features including inbox operations, campaigns, chatbot workflows, notifications, analytics, support, and account administration.
  • To secure the platform, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, comply with legal obligations, and improve product reliability.

Meta and WhatsApp Data

  • SmsPort accesses WhatsApp Business Platform data only for the services requested by customer businesses using the platform.
  • Connected business data may include business account identifiers, phone number identifiers, message events, webhook events, templates, and related operational metadata.
  • Customer businesses remain responsible for ensuring that their use of WhatsApp, messaging templates, contacts, and campaign activity complies with Meta policies and applicable law.

Data Sharing

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We may share data with infrastructure, hosting, security, analytics, communications, and payment providers only as needed to operate SmsPort.
  • We may disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce platform terms, protect rights and safety, or respond to legitimate regulatory requests.

Data Retention and Security

  • We retain data only for as long as necessary to operate the service, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, support customer operations, and satisfy legal requirements.
  • We use access controls, audit logging, environment-based configuration, and other operational safeguards to protect business and messaging data.
  • No internet-connected service is completely risk free, so customers should also apply their own security and access-management practices.

Your Rights and Requests

  • Customers may request access, correction, deletion, or account-related assistance by contacting us.
  • Where required by law, we will support additional privacy rights requests in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Requests relating to WhatsApp or Meta platform data may require coordination with the customer business that controls that data.
